Dance, Bid, Eat, Play!

Groovy Vibes coming your way!  We are excited to bring you the SCAPA Silent Disco presented by Prive Medispa!

What is a Silent Disco?  A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones.  Instead of being broadcast through a speaker system, the music is broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by the wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants.

When? Friday, September 23rd from 6:00-9:00pm

Where? SCAPA Bluegrass Multi-purpose Room

Who?  All SCAPA Bluegrass and SCAPA Lafayette families.  This is a whole-family event and children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

What do I wear?  Feel free to get into the theme and dress in 70’s attire!  Not feeling a theme?  Casual and comfortable so that you can dance is the way to go!

I don’t dance.  Is the event still for me?  YES!  We will have some 70’s themed games, food trucks, photo booth, silent auction, and really cool people hanging out!  Come enjoy the chance to meet fellow SCAPA families and have fun together!

How much does it cost?  The event is free for all SCAPA families but donations are encouraged since this is our fall fundraiser.  Pay what you are able.  Suggested donation is what you might spend on a family outing to the movies — $5/person or $20 a family.

Why are we having a fundraiser?  FOAS supports SCAPA through teacher grants, funding student needs (e.g., field trips, instruments, etc.), school improvements (e.g., dance floor covering, playground), and supporting productions.  We are able to do that through generous donations from events like the Silent Disco!

How can I help?  So glad you asked!  We need a few items to get the party started!  Please see this list and donate if you are able.  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/409054AA4AA2BA02-silent

I’d love to volunteer! How do I do that?  Awesome!  Here is a sign-up for that too!  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/409054AA4AA2BA02-silent1

We cannot wait to dance the night away with you all!
